The bad: Pricey (relative to some Malay establishments), ikan tempoyak had overbearing taste of turmeric, slow service
Bottom line: Go if you appreciate nice kampung environment

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect spot for those who is looking for the original kampung style menu, with variety of river fish dishes. It is a cozy place, within the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant itself were once a kampung style bungalow, before Samudera Anjung Patin Ville took over and starts the business here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aware of few posts regarding the high price, didn’t expect to pay 2 ekor udang galah for rm165..i ordered sambal ulam, 1 slice of fried fish & 1 ayam goreng kampung..total rm232 for 3 person..taste wise is just okay but the price really driving me nuts ??

like asam pedas like. it was delicious. the most delicious i have eaten so far. i ate it with white rice+ ulam+ fried fish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was yummy but RM18 for 1 bowl of daging salai (which only contain 5 pieces of daging). Sambal sotong full with bawang instead of sotong. can go makan at bangi with a better price and more quantity. Be ready to pay more with little quatity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malay foods cooked and served in original kampung style. All sorts of freshwater fish e.g. patin, baung, kerai and etc served here. All taste just nice! The ambience is great too and quiet as the building used to be a kampung wooden house.
