Beautiful studio. Plenty of parking spaces available. Very experienced and friendly instructors who take health matters very seriously. Enrolling for their corporate yoga programme waa an excellent choice. All staff love the sessions.

I’m prefer the style and ways that Sandhya Maarga yoga guiding & couching, because the instructor are professionals and with genuine yoga experience, they will focus on student’s alignment in every pose,which let us able to experience the real and correct poses that we are doing.

Been with the Sandhya Maarga Mission for more than 10 years. They have instructors in many different countries and places. From France, we managed to connect with the centres in Malaysia. The centre in Klang was the first Sandhya Maarga centre established in Malaysia. The instructors there are lovely and the studio ambience is extremely warm and welcoming. It was definitely a memorable experience. Instructors here do their best to maintain the traditionality and originality of Yoga practice. They introduce the Asanas in Sanskrit instead of the usual English terms and do their best to assist those with health challenges and mobility difficulties. Sandhya Maarga instructors are rigorously trained to understand how Anatomy & Physiology works so they can help practitioners maximise their sessions. The Centre is linked to Sandhya Maarga Holistic Living Academy. They are extremely active in the traditional & complementary health & wellness education field, which is a huge plus factor. Their Yoga & Meditation retreats prior to the pandemic were also moments to remember! Hopefully, the overseas retreats resume! Can't wait to rejoin those trips!!

My child is now 10 years old. She has been a huge part of the Academy’s activities since she was 2. She participated in so many of their classes and now, even during the pandemic, she is part of their online Yoga classes. I am grateful to all the lecturers, who are now my fellow colleagues, who guided my daughter through the different principles and philosophies of yoga system. Their expert skills and knowledge in their respective field are commendable and she gained vast knowledge and skills throughout the whole journey. Sandhya Maarga lecturers are ever willing to assist their learners in any way possible. They also take time and trouble to teach beyond the syllabus as they also truly passionate and enthusiastic in creating awareness among the community about the benefits of natural health. As years passed by, I developed health issue of spinal disc prolapse C5, C6 and lumbar disc prolapse L5, S1. I started learning yoga for general health to alleviate my painful symptoms. Western medicine and hospital physiotherapy weren’t able to help me much. Everyone suggested operation, an option that I didn’t want. I had never practised yoga before and I didn’t know what to expect but I decided to give it a try. I’m not much of an exercise person. It was a surprise to me that regular practice of Sandhya Maarga yoga helped improve my spinal disc prolapse condition. The yoga instructors were very knowledgeable and patient in teaching the asanas to all students regardless of their level (I was a total beginner). They were able to recommend the beneficial asanas for my condition. As time went on, I could perform the asanas better and was able to break through my previous limitations gradually. The yoga asanas helped me further in improving my nerve pain threshold and reduced my pain level. I was able to bend my affected limbs (left leg and right arm), which was a big challenge initially. Nerve spasms and tingling sensations on my left leg and right arm started to decrease gradually. I was able to walk at a faster pace as before. I was able to sit and stand for an extended longer period of time, gradually. Slowly my limb numbness started diminishing gradually and I regained my normal strength power. I am indeed fortunate that I took that step to try Sandhya Maarga yoga practice, which had helped me tremendously in improving my activities of daily living (impaired earlier due to disc prolapse). I am ever grateful to Sandhya Maarga yoga teachers for creating awareness in me about yoga benefits related to my health condition. I find Sandhya Maarga yoga teachers very knowledgeable. They are not only well versed with yoga asanas, but also with human anatomy system. The Academy even offers a UK Diploma in Yoga (first of its kind in Malaysia, which I may be considering to enrol) for those who wants to be certified as a yoga teacher. I never regretted joining Sandhya Maarga yoga and have never turned back ever since. It had always been an amazing and transformative journey for me being a SMHLA student. After many years being with them, I eventually joined their team of lecturers/instructors. My years of experience as a nurse manager in large hospitals allowed me to share with students, real-life medical situations pertaining to their courses. Despite taking up a teaching role now, I’m getting to know more and more people in the holistic health field who still teach me new things that I had never known before. In short, I strongly and highly recommend SMHLA as your one stop solution for learning courses related to natural health or any other courses.

When I went for a checkup at IJN, the doctor recommended I started practising yoga to increase my lung capacity. So, I googled for a studio and this centre came up. I couldn't have found a better choice. I had never experienced yoga before and when I first started, I struggled with many Asanas. The yoga instructors were very patient and helpful in assisting me with the postures at the studio. When the pandemic hit, while everyone was confined in their homes, I was very grateful to have been able to continue to stay active with the online yoga classes. The instructors were very professional and focused very much on the therapeutic aspects of yoga practice, which is extremely beneficial for me. My oxygen levels began to pick up and my lung capacity started to improve. The SM Yoga Master had also correctly identified that I had a spinal misalignment. After continuous practice, I had less pain around my cervical and my panic attacks due to stress had also been reduced. I am thankful for the support and commitment that the Sandhya Maarga group had demonstrated throughout the years.

I've been learning yoga here since I was 6 years old. They offer many different activities. My mom also enrolled me in their Chitta Vajra classes to build character for kids. It has been 8 years since I have been with Sandhya Maarga. I have always enjoyed the yoga classes. I first started with yoga for kids but then slowly moved onto joining the adult classes. The most challenging class is the core strengthening class. It really made me sweat but the postures really strengthened my core. At first, I was struggling but as I became stronger, the postures became easier to hold. At one point, my family felt I was becoming a little unhealthy. I started to pant going up the stairs or carry things. I then started doing yoga every single day. With proper diet and yoga, I have lost a lot of weight. I've met and made a lot of friends around the world through Sandhya Maarga. I even visited India with our Yoga Master. I learned about how different people's lives are there and that trip really changed me as a person..... for the better. Yoga has become my passion. I am training hard to become a yoga instructor in the future. In 2 years time, I will be eligible to take their UK Diploma in Yoga Teaching. I can't wait to officially take the course, graduate and join the team of instructors.
