★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best and authentic Sate Minang in town with a good shape and nice clean cut of meats, the gravy is so thick and not so spicy which I like it so much. Owner is very friendly and generous. You may come as soon as they are opened because usually after 8pm, most of sate is sold out. They are opened from 5pm daily except Sunday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being a minang boy I am qualified to acclaim this to be the best Satay Padang in town. The cuts available include beef, chicken, tongue and beef rinds. I had 2 packs, one in the signature Padang sauce and the other the bastardised peanut sauce. Both were great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't get enough of it. Once you try, you'll like it...different from M'sia satay. The meat is still tender and juicy, kinda BBQ style. Their gravy is marvelous - thick, not sweet but full of aroma smell of fried shallots. I like it so much...afforable too.
Look at my big portion chicken satays ( 1 stick = 80 cents ) + lontong ( $1/pkt ) All in for Rm$9

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thay have 2 stalls, one just for takeaway and the other one where you could dine-in and got another menu, like soto and bakso. Using this location will direct you to the takeaway stall, but u can ask the person where u can dine in. The sate padang daging is a must try, probably the best sate padang in KL and very similar to one's in Indonesia. It very cheap only rm for 5 skewers satay and the rice cake (lontong/nasi) and +RM1 for additional satay. Make sure to come early, especially on weekends because it went viral on tiktok last time I went at 8.30pm it finished already?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quick and convenient way is taking the LRT and stops at Kampung Baru. As you exit the main gate, take the right turn (on the left you can see KLCC and colorfully lit Saloma Bridge). Follow the right road that curves towards the street food area in 5min. You will be greeted at the corner by the most aromatic Satay Padang with its tastiest peanut sauce. Chicken satay costs RM1/stick. It’s so addictively delicious. Wanted to try 2 nasi lemak stalls but they were closed, so settled for Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa instead. There are many stalls and restaurants brimming with locals. So that’s a good sign. Highly recommended especially during fasting month in a few days, the Ramadan Bazaar is worth a visit.
