★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an Indonesian living in Malaysia. Sate Barokah Ibu Nur have represented the Indonesian satay very well. The sauce is thick and tasty just like back at home. The place may not be as lively as other restaurants. But this restaurant have a concept of a basic restaurant or "rumah makan" just like back in Indonesia.
However, what matters are the food. They're tastu and worth a visit.

Lamb satay was a consolation save.
Yet to taste their mie ayam. it ran out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried sate ayam and nasi ayam penyet for dinner here. The sate is Indo style with the sauce is really sweet and it's quite filling. The sate was also really delicious and soft.
The ayam penyet though not horrible is not the best I ever tasted. Don't recommend ordering it here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Different kind of satay compared to local malaysian satay. If you love madura or indonesian kinda satay and gravy do give sate barokah a visit. I went twice an both visits was pleasant. Very tasty indonesian food served here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best madura-style satay (with peanut sauce) you can find in KL. Each satay was cut in big slices and very succulent. There are other indonesian food menus as well, if you're not in the mood for satay. It's really a hidden gem

Ayam penyet? The sambal is bad.
Satay madura kambing? The source is bad. The fat too big and uncooked, so it's so chewy. Dislike!
Price? Expensive for this kind of taste. I will try to avoid this place in future.
Recommended? No!
