★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are not many options when it comes to eating Chinese food in Besut. After all, Terengganu is a Muslim majority state and Besut is a small town with not many tourists.. except for those who want to take boat to Pulau Perhentian as this is the gateway to the paradise Island.
My friend has business here and when I stopped in this town enroute to Kuala Terengganu, he brought me to this rather old looking building in the middle of Besut town. The restaurant was basic, with plastic tables and chairs - no air conditioning and it can get quite stuffy in a hot afternoon too.
My friends brought some seafoods that is easily available in this fishing town to be cooked in this restaurant (at a cost of course).
◾Prawns - butter milk style with cili padi thrown in..
◾Chilly crabs - so so so good and if I were having rice, I’d mop the gravy clean right away
◾Teo chew style steamed fish - appetising to say the least.
◾Stir fried yaw mak
Overall the freshness of the seafood played an important role coupled with the cooking technique. Nothing attractive about this restaurant when you look from the outside but the quality of cooking was commendable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reach the restaurant, hv alots of empty table but they told that no more seats. While waiting outside the restaurant, you can see is very very very dirty, the plates, foods to be prepare, the food leftover all was on the floor, is very disgusting i feel like vormit when i see that, endup we went to but food at 7-11 instead, really no appetite when see such a dirty environment. Can't juge the food as we didnt eat there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time eating here for dinner (butter chicken, mixed vegetables, seaweed soup) and was very impressed with the tasty butter chicken, sauce of mixed vegetables, everything about the seaweed soup it being a rainy night). 2 pax cost RM33. Immediately made plans to eat breakfast here and was super delighted with the chicken ginger vermicelli soup and over the top green salad with toasted kaya bread scrambled egg. 2pax cost RM14.50. Will we return to eat again soon? YES ✅YES✅ YES✅ Immediately on our return trip and every chance we are nearby. Must must must eat here as it is offering Muslim-safe food (no pork), so more people can dine heartily. Serving drinks like Chinese tea , alcoholic drinks.#tastysoup#Muslimfriendly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is tasty, price reasonable. Understaffed with one cook and kitchen helper, one person in front taking orders and cleaning tables. Took 10 mins before someone came to take our order, waited 45 mins for the food even though we ordered 3 plates of fried noodles/rice. Halfway through they ran out of chicken and we had to cancel our last dish. Its a small family business, don’t expect 5-star service. Come earlier, be prepared to wait, be nice to the Indian boy who speaks fluent Chinese!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is pretty normal but affordable. Pretty crowded as only 2 Chinese restaurant here. Good place for lunch as it's very near to jetty if you are looking for quick lunch. Could take some time to cook tho depending on the number of customers waiting. Rm30.7 for chicken and tofu+ rice for 3 pax
