Definitely a nice spot to quickly stop but apart from a quick photo with the tree not much else happening

Didn't actually do the whole wishing tree thing but the area has several shops whereby you can buy some teaso ably priced dried seafood. Across the road is also a beach. Not very OKU friendly, we struggled quite a bit with many tourist destinations in Kuala Selangor and Sekinchan travelling with my aged grandmother who was on a wheelchair. I would say expect to spend about 30 minutes here if you're not planning on dipping your toes in the not so clean sea water

Had a great day with my friends. Today, I learned many things about the importance of Bukit Raja Musa forest reserve and the irrigation system that helped the Sekinchan padi farmers by Mr. Lasal (with the towel around his neck). He also brought us to buy seafood directly from the fisherman as well as the seafood wholesalers. Best to buy your seafood from the Sekinchan wet market.

I think everyone who comes to Sekinchan will pop by here. This tree is iconic and has been around for years. Mom wanted to see it so we drove up to take a look. It wasn't very crowded since we arrived on a very hot, sunny day. We did not make any wishes though as the temple next door looked deserted.

Locations is near to Redang Beach at Sekinchan, adjacent to Tua Pek Gong temple. Did a prayer in the temple and the red wishing ribbon can be obtained there.

If you're wondering where to get the wish ribbons. Just proceed to the temple beside the tree. In the temple you will find them in the right side corner. You will find some pen as well. Do not forget to donate a few bucks or coins upon taking, as they say wishes only come true with a little contribution. Myth.

Quaint little hangout spot with a wishing tree and swings underneath it. The swings might not look steady but they had no problem carrying my 55kg body. The wishing tree operates by donation. You get a strip of cloth and you write your wish on it. Then you throw the red strip of cloth onto the branch. Opposite the tree is a quiet beach, with a treehouse and gazebo. Nothing over the top which makes it very cozy and nice.

A nice beach side with the Wishing Tree in-front of a Chinese temple for you to make a wish. Windy environment to see the sunset and nearby fishing village. Also can see many fishing boat there.
