第一间老历志學校是由先賢胡文虎，胡文犳兄弟，及多名已故先贤资助建立的，由於学生人數的增加，校舍不够用，当时学校董事决定另尋校地。
现在的历志學校校址，
是由本地先贤謝猴义夫人，也是已故聞人謝金泉，謝金吉令祖母所报效的两依格校地。
