★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Hokkien mee/loh mee — soup has no msg, can ask for extra veg at no extra charge. CKT, koay teow thng, koay chap, mee jawa also good, economy rice stall packed with variety of foods, stalls outside selling putumayam, nasi lemak, etc... something for everyone, even picky eaters

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had tried almost all the stalls in this shop and like most of them. Our favorite foods here are hokkien prawn mee/lor mee, wantan mee, java mee(both fry & gravy), char koay teow, koay chiap, char hor fun/hokkien char and economy rice. When we arrive at 7am, notice the economy rice dishes are mostly ready(steamed chicken always come later). The thick kopi o here is very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A kopi tiam with multiple food choices in the morning, most of which are tasty. The coffeeshop owner allows hawkers trading along the sidelane to bring food in, so customers have a choice of 2 koay teow soup, 2 char koay teow, 2 wantan mee etc.
The duck koay teow soup inside the shop is very tasty & one can choose to have chicken meat too.
Popular breakfast spot as it is very near the Jelutong market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The economic rice here is very cheap and tasty. Their staff is also very friendly and attentive. Parking is not an issue after 1pm as most of the stalls at Jelutong morning market have been removed from the streets by that time.
