โ โ โ โ โ I ordered the nasi lemak ayam goreng and my other half had the soto ayam. The latter was apparently tasteless. I fared better as the ayam goreng was reasonably tasty and the sambal was ok. Service was really slow even though there was only 1 other table taken with 4 people.

โ โ โ โ โ Surprisingly the food was quite ok for a set up that tries to offer many type of local Malay dishes and some localised western food. This shop gets a good lunch crowd. The offerings are designed to serve individually. Go for their favourite local dishes. They are better at cooking these. I noticed only 2 waitresses serving the whole restaurant. They are fairly efficient!

โ โ โ โ โ The name really explains itself. The flavour focused on the Malay palate, and it shines. I have ordered Ayam Penyet, the chicken was fresh and tasty, the sambal penyet and soup was superb, compliments each other very well. My other half ordered Nasi Lemak with ayam goreng, results was the same with the penyet. Fragrant rice, crispy and flavourful chicken and awesome Sambal! We wash it down with Sirap Bandung, and another home run! It was not sweet but very creamy, 'lemak' as the Malay would say~ Decor was good, from outside looks plain but inside it was very cosy and chick. Syabas! Malayu ada standard!

โ โ โ โ โ The food is delicious. Go for the fried mee, and gulai daging salai. Be warned though the gulai daging salai is spicy. The tapai is smooth and matured just right.

โ โ โ โ โ Tried this restaurant which specialises in Malay cuisine along with western food. Ordered their ayam penyet, apart from their chicken being crisp and hot nothing else was to die for. Taste was at best simple and plain, portion size was okay, not sure which category I will put the price in since it goes with the decor and style of the restaurant.

โ โ โ โ โ I rate this restaurant as one of the best in town. Freshly made dishes that taste delicious. The cooks/chefs display their skills for all to see behind glass panes. The dining area has two main colours, black and yellow. Tables are in rows. The right side has a mirrored wall above the wainscotting with a long cushioned banquet seating. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the dishes and the comfort of air-conditioning. Highly recommended.
