★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard it’s famous and tasty, hence came quite a long way with a friend to give it a try.
My friend was quite happy with the meal but I thought there are rooms for improvement.
So we both have one small chilli pan mee on our own, and we ordered an a la carte char siew for sharing.
For chilli pan mee I wish they already do all the flavouring instead of having the chilli powder on side for us to add in on our own. I understand that’s convenient for customers to adjust the spiciness to own liking, but it took a few bites for me to really able to adjust to some optimal taste. If they were to give customers options, I would suggest they have a few spicy level for customers to choose upon order than giving the chilli powder to customer to make their own.
I like that the side small soup came with quite some green. But the char siew was very underwhelming to be honest. The cut is not even at all, some are thicker than the others, not consistent.
Also, for people who love pork lard, there were a few options for you to take on your own, no limitation but do note that it’s not the healthiest condiments/sides.

Only thing is, if the staff there would wear their mask properly it would be better

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food in the town. One of the best for Char Siew Wantan. It's just nice as it should be. Pan Mee, don't shy to take the spicy one. It will make u blush with tears. Good one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the second spiciest pan mee, able to finish it. Sweating like water fountain after that. Not able to read Chinese characters, i thought "mid" means in between thick and thin. It's actually means hand thorn.
While i was there, didn't notice any locals managing the shop. Looks like all run by foreigners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not recommendable. I remember this shop used to offer acceptable nice noodle but it was quite disappointing during my recent visit. The pan mee has so much MSG added that I feel so thirsty right after the meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the spiciest pan mee I ever tried. Reaction after my first bite, tears out, running nose and sweating. Must come and challenge yourself if you are spicy lover. The wonton filled with fresh and big prawn, tasty! My friend also recomended the wonton mee here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste of nostalgia curry noodles and wontons noodles. Fast service and reasonable price. Curry noodles taste good served with wonton, minced pork, pork skin, curry chicken, good portion even I ordered the small size. Wonton noodles is really good too with bbq pork and wonton. You have to try the chilli paste with curry noodles, the chilli paste has a unique smell of spice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4 stars because of the cha siu too dry. The roast pork and the wanton mee is nice. Hope the order can improve the cha siu. Or maybe that is the last few pieces when i ordered.
