We usually call the lemon chicken, herbal chicken, salted fish braised pork, Kam heong lala, salted egg sotong, steamed tilapia, fried tilapia in soy sauce garlic and cili padi, baby kailan, signature tofu, creammy butter crabs, cili crabs etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I remember that day we were visiting her aunt who lives in Kepong. Having come out from a very small town in Pahang in the 90s, it was her aunt that provided her with a roof over the head for a few years - the vital years where she pursued for her degree. During the period, her aunt brought her out occasionally to eat dinner nearby and Shiang Hee was one of them.
According to her, this restaurant is what you called peng leng jeng (cheap, pretty and nice). Located in the popular part of Bandar Menjalara where most of the steamboat restaurants are, parking is definitely easier during the day.
◾Steamed wan yue tail with ginger - fresh fish but when one has got used to bentong ginger, it's hard not to compare. It'd be perfect if they use Bentong ginger variety instead.
◾Sweet & sour pork - crunchy outer layer with tender meat once I sank my teeth in, this dish was best eaten as soon as it was served before the sauce started to make it soggy.
◾Lemon chicken - perfectly deep fried chicken thigh smothered in lemon sauce.. too sweet to my liking though but everyone else wasn't complaining.
◾Sambal petai - gotta love this stuff. The sambal was good.
◾Bean curd on sizzling plate - need something to mix with the small one's rice hence this dish. Somehow normal
◾Chinese steamed egg - silky smooth and could literally slid down the throat.
◾The greens
The bill came around RM180 which was quite reasonable given that there were 12-14 of us and all were fed sufficiently.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely busy place and lots of patrons waiting in line for a table even at 6.35pm.
Food served approx 1hour after order at 6.20pm.
Good serving portion for 4 pax. Loved the chinese wine ginger chicken. Not too overwhelming. Not too sweet either.
The only issue is the place is extremely packed and ventilation is poor due to low awning at the extended area and no event cooling tower fans for ventilation.
Otherwise it's my high rating food joint.
Guess you cant win all?.
Must go makan place for families and good company.??

The salted egg mantis shrimp and all the other dishes were nice but the marmite chicken was overcooked and dry.
The price was unbelievable though. RM60+ for 4 dishes, you can’t really beat that.
