Since I was a child, I helped adults to buy things at kwong long. It used to be a traditional grocery store with a dazzling array of things. Almost everything you want to buy is in there. At that time, the economy was not good, and many families didn't have enough money at the end of the month. The boss here was very considerate of everyone, and used the things first, and then paid the bill when the food was paid. We were one of them and I am very grateful! Today's kwong long has been transformed into a mini market, managed by the third generation. What they did in the past has served as a monument to them, and perhaps they have accumulated merits, but business is still prospering today. It is hoped that kwong long will be passed on from one generation to the next for the convenience of local residents.
