Still MCO. Not many stall open and not many people. The CKT has the "wok hei" but not spicy enough. Should have told them extra spicy.

Ever since the town council turned in into a night food venue by shutting the road from traffic, food options been great. Chee cheng fun opp KFC is amazing but could be slow as the boss is a 1 man show. Char kway tiao in the middle of the market with a Malaysian flag hanging atop is goddam good. Operated by old uncle chef and server auntie. Indian stall serves fresh chapati and decent curries.

One of the popular places to eat in Taiping at night. Like this chee cheong fun quite alot. However, was abit annoyed by the 'rules' that each table must order at least one drink. Asked the lady why and she said because they pay the rent for the tables to the local authority. (??!!) Well, just think that they shouldn't set such rule just because they have to pay rent for their business lor ?

Came late to Taiping and asked a friend where can i get some decent hawker food and was recommended to try this Siang Malam hawker area. Honestly I couldn't find any signboard around that states the name but I assume it's just this entire area. I understand it's also a food court in the morning. At night the road is cordoned off and tables and chairs are put on the road. Seating is ample and it's surprisingly clean. The eateries are spread around this entire place. I was alone but manage to try a few items. The egg popiah was ok. Very moist but could use more chilli for a better kick. Cost rm3 for 1. The satay here has chicken and pork. Chicken is 90c and pork is 1.20. it taste decent but honestly the satay kuah is out. Tasted like peanut paste. Finally the sizzling noodles is the bomb. Cost rm5. It's hard to find a good stall selling this nowadays. Usually found in shopping mall food courts, those sadly suck. This is worth coming for and would have been even more awesome if they put large black mushrooms. Drinks are awesome which alot of variety.
