★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious duck drumstick noodles & fishball noodles & the very authentic Malaysia black version of hokkien mee r available at this makan placevar Bidor@ Ipoh. Coffee & tea beverages r to my preference. Special to tis place is the home brewed lorhan drink which is sweet & tastes just right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast service. Love the coffee here, kopi-c no sugar. The duck leg noodles is better than its famous neighbour PC as herbal taste is just nice. Getting pricier too as inflation too. RM 10 per bowl.
The fish balls is nothing to shout about. Just white fish meat. Not saitou/parang fish balls.

Pros: delicious, nutritious and generous portion duck noodle soup. The wan thun mee is average. Ample parking space.

Delicious duck drumstick herbal soup noodles (ngap tui min)?. The noodles used are wantan noodles (egg noodles). At RM10 per bowl, the portion is big.
Arrived at 8 am on a Sunday and it was not busy.
Thier duck noodles are tastier compared to a famous restaurant a few doors away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a meal for travellers. low fat, light in carbs, yet refreshing. this way, i won't feel too sleepy when i get back on the road. that is how i think of the tong fun (glass noodles) fishballs here. i had this 13 years ago and tried it again in dec 2021 while travelling. tastes the same. really simple yet satisfying. at rm5 a bowl, it is a little pricey for the quality, but i see worse prices vs quality in cities, and i really don't mind letting rural folk earn some money; they have simple business models so don't set a high benchmark with them.
