β β β β β I was in my early 20s old (circa 1991-1992) and was employed by Kerjaya Balfour Beatty Cementation - Pergau Hydro Electric Dam Project. My wife was running a free tuition place for the kids - it was recognized by KEMAS eventually before we departed for Kuala Lumpur.
The location is quite near to the school and clinic (I think it was Blok Pasir Puteh) It was also the place where my eldest son (who was 2 then) grew up. I really love the surroundings of the place. It's peaceful, the people are nice. You can still see the beautiful scenes like hills and nature's beauty (still recall the smell of fresh bakery and visiting the farmer's market every weekend) The place has changed a lot since 1991 - even my house where I was staying is gone but I still recognize the nearest location via Google Street View.
