- from when Somerset was just a fledgling business, while it was run with and without the founder around and now under new ownership.
I admit, I am not an "easy to please customer" as I tend to compare any business to our own businesses' standards (service and professional conduct). But I do like what I experience at Somerset with my mani- & pedicure and waxing! Yes, there were a few blips (like there are in every business) but overall the atmosphere is pleasant (not like those stuffed up "establishments" frequented by unbearable "socialites"), the service is absolutely courteous and professional and rarely will you encounter a more stylishly performed waxing taking a lot off the unpleasantness that this procedure includes. Keep it up and grow, Somerset! I enjoy your services ✌

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a foreigner visiting Malaysia, it was hard to find somewhere to unwind and be pampered. This shop really is great for relaxing.
Paid 125RM for mani pedi and was very very happy with the results. Ida was my nail artist and she’s very hardworking and attentive. I was there till the shop closed but she was still making sure everything was fine and wasn’t in a hurry. My chafing feet is now so smooth. The only thing I would probably be dissatisfied about would be that if hands and feet were worked on at once, it would be faster. But I was happy with how she took her time and didn’t cut corners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently after MCO, this establishment requires customers to purchase a few tools for cleanliness purposes, under the pretense that certain tools cannot be sanitized.
Although I understand that certain tools like nail files cannot be sanitized and I was ready to buy, they also pushed me to buy a metal tool that could clearly be sanitized (and not cheap). Not only did I see the exact same tool in the manicurist’s basket, they mixed it up and now I don’t even know if what I bought is new or used.
Although my manicurist hands-on skill is satisfactory, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was recommended by a family member of mine and I am truly disappointed with the quality! My appointment was at 12pm but they made me wait 1 1/2 hour. Service is extremely slow! I did Gel Mani and Pedi and the quality was disappointing. I had bubbles in the gel mani and it chipped the next day. I paid 200 bucks and this is the quality I am getting! The staff are nice but the service is slow and quality is not worth it.
