★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and efficient boss. Bak kut teh is nice. Vinegar pork trotter delicious! They have a variety of other dishes too. Worth a try and worth going back for.

This was my second time patronising to this restaurant to have our dinner after a second thought of a comment from a friend saying the BKT is good...
Anyway, the dishes served here was very impressived but the taste was really not up to our expectations...
~The BKT soup was plain without any herbs taste or kind of aroma lifting scents of herbs and the meat is hard...
~The venegar pig throttle was too sweet. Maybe was due to the caramel source or the brand's of sweet and sour venegar used for cooking and the lean meat of the throttle was a bit hard and the restaurant served us mostly are bones ... hmmm.
Normally customers loved the fatty parts of the throttle, I guess ... ?
Anyway, whenever dishes are sweet definitely not my taste...
~The sesame chicken smells good when it's first placed on the table, the aroma of the sesame oil and the colour of the cooked chicken was very impressive in the claypot ... emmm but once the first piece of chicken was place into the mouth, guess what? It was too salty and the sesame oil taste seems to have had disappeared, looks like it was used only as a lifting scent topping during cooking ... ?
~The only dish served on the table which I could comment good was the stir fried potato leaves... ?
Anyway, I don't meant to be rude or too demanding...with the price paid, we definitely deserve something good and tasty... ?
