Highly Recommended Chiropractor: Dr Adel & Physiotherapist : Sharon and Akmal My mum has a condition called lumbar spondylosis issues with one of her left backbone having slight slip disc (confirmed by x-ray and MRI scan) and eventually pressing her main nerve root that link all the way to her left foot. She has been receiving medical treatment in Putrajaya hospital but recently the pain on her left foot became unbearable, to a point, every step she walks, is extremely painful and miserable that almost cripple her daily activities. Thx God we are recommended by my dad's friend to try out SpineAlive. To date, my mum has went thru 4-5 weeks of treatment with each session of treatment consist of chiropractic , decompression machine and physio sessions. Throughout the session , Dr Adel thoroughly understand all the details from the MRI scan and X-ray and perform proper and detail diagnosis to assess the root cause of my mum's pain. She listened and explained patiently to my mum through out the sessions. Very knowledgeable and skillful in performing the bone alignment to my mum I must say. Next is the hand in hand physio session. Chiropractor and physiotherapist are closely communicated to provide my mum the best effort and well coordinated treatment. Our first treatment is with Akmal. He is also very good in checking out my mum condition and performed the dry needle treatment for her which greatly reduce her pain in the first week. We then continued our treatment with Sharon. Sharon assisted my mum in performing the exercises in correct manner. Things like breathing , posture in those exercises are well taught and explained. Most importantly, I like how the sessions of exercises are given and instructed in progressive, tailor made to my mum condition manner. This give her confident in all the exercises she is doing. With my mum tough conditions, with just 4-5 weeks of treatment, my mum pain is greatly reduced. One significant improvement is she can walk around the basketball court near our tmn from 4 rounds to 12 rounds in a day without feeling much pain. Today, she can easily go shopping walking with the grandchildren without complaining much on left foot pain. That is priceless. From depress helpless mode, to a happier spirit. I’ve been having an assortment of musculoskeletal problems for over 10 years, primarily neck and back pain. Underwent 2 minor surgeries and tried various alternative treatments, therapies and supplements over the years however to no avail. The pain and discomfort just escalated over the years and was affecting my nervous system. Daily functions became very challenging as a result of the lethargic reaction to pain. I met Wicky Yap (Chiropractor) and Akmal Ahmad (Physiotherapist) from Spinalive USJ Taipan about 10 months ago. They have been helping me over this period with treatment and rehab exercises. These guys are skilled, knowledgeable, patient and very professional. Aside from the help I received from them, I put in a lot of work and made several changes to my lifestyle. Today, I am doing a lot better and not focusing on pain management. My focus has shifted to increasing strength, mobility and improving my lifestyle. First time consulted here, I’m impressed with Mr. Wicky knowledge. He’s able to decipher that I torn something on my shoulder even though the injury was sustained 4-5years ago.
