Nobody wants to take your order and even to pay for your meal is difficult.

โ โ โ โ โ Ordered filter coffee. thosai and prata. Waiter recommended mushroom masala repeatedly saying taste guaranteed, so said ok.
Filter coffee excellent, prata soft fluffy, thosai was good. Mushroom masala sub standard, salty.
And paid RM18 just for this mushroom masala!!!!
Please be aware when waiter is recommending a particular dish, ask the price before ordering, don't be stupid like me!!!!!

โ โ โ โ โ Since Sungai Petani is painfully short of good Indian eateries, the locals don't have much of a choice. Sri Ananda Bahwan has been here for ages, the only place with a huge variety of dishes to choose from, at reasonable prices. The staff do work hard, tho don't expect any friendly smiles in the early morning!

โ โ โ โ โ Quality has droppes tremendously. Used to be a good indian restaurant in SP. No more banana leaf serving, now its just on plate. And the price is very high, service is slow since they have cut down manpower.

The taste of food was off, can't help to notice bad smell lingering.. and i didn't eat.
I walked to my car park and I noticed the drain from this restaurant was clogged up.
This restaurant has been throwing rotten food into drain hence clogged up their entire drainage..
The smell is so bad that it is reaching all around..!
I hope the authorities will do something about it...
IM SURELY NOT GOING TO THIS FILTH PLACE AGAIN....!???
