β β β β β As a parent I must say that the primary school had done an outstanding job in providing my child the education he needs. However, otherwise is to be said about the secondary school (Private site). Very disappointing. A school of racial prejudice, and very poor teaching qualities. Teachers pluck punishments from the sky, mainly depending on race. There is no definite consequence towards a student's wrongdoing, and the teachers are absolutely bias. It is quite casual for non-native english speakers to be picked on by teachers. Even some of the most incorrigible students get put on a pedestal, and the adults turn a blind eye on them when they commit a misconduct.
Why? Because it's all about the race!
Terribly unfair and diabolical! Took my son out after he finished secondary 2. Parents, for both you and your child's sake, don't bother enrolling your child into secondary as soon as they are done with UPSR.

β β β β β My children have been studying in the private KDU schools and have done quite well in the academic and curricular aspects of the primary school. However, after moving my oldest child to the secondary school, I have learned that it is very much different than the primary school.
Students there are bullied frequently for their skin colour instead of being treated equally. Many racial discriminatory words are used everyday which can bring oneβs self esteem down.
I have heard that students keep prohibited items with them at school, such as vapes. These items are kept by the students in their lockers where they escape suspicion from the spotchecks that are conducted.
The students also act out towards teachers, taking advantage of their nonchalant exteriors which escalate to making some even cry.
Many rules are being added such as not being able to stay in class during break times, which come with a suspension if you disregard the rule.
Most disgusting is that the students go about doing many inappropriate things, that are not spoken about. Quite recently, molestation. More inappropriate activities are also happening in the school, not known by teachers.
All in all, the private KDU secondary school may seem like a good choice of school to enroll your child in, but it is not. From the exterior it seems like a great school but once you enter, it is quite the opposite. Hopefully there will be action taken to make the school better than it currently is. I hope to see a change.

β β β β β The facilities are nice and enjoyable but the education your kids get isn't worth all the fees. Many bullying cases and the teachers don't pay much attention to the students. Some of the teachers don't even know more than half of the kids name in the class memorised, let alone if they grade their test properly.

Below are her review about her school:
βIts a school filled with hundreds of students, it is a very big school with a international, primary, and secondary school, but its very expensive! Boys and girls where the same uniform the boys were pants and girls were skirts which are the same colour.β

β β β β β This has got to be one of the worst schools to ever exist. That may sound like I'm exaggerating but I really am not. The first issue and the most disturbing issue is the canteen. My child has complained to me several times that the utensils are not washed properly and sometimes, there's even food stuck on it which makes me sick to my stomach as I'm paying more than 20k a year for a school with has no sense of cleanliness. To add salt to wound, my child has had food poisoning after eating the school food. Next, the students are very racist to one another and that is not okay but the teachers don't seem to care about how the students are treating their peers and that to me is what makes a bad teacher and a bad school overall. Speaking of the teachers, their teaching methods are god awful. It is such a waste of money as my child isn't gaining any knowledge whatsoever from them. Moreover, the toilets are utterly disgusting. There is always this pungent smell that makes me want to die rather than breathing in whatever is causing it to smell like that. Other than that, the schools new absurd rules. 'No staying in class during break and lunch' honestly.. can that even be a rule? What is it that you think my child will do that could possibly offend and/or go against the school rules? Exactly, nothing. There are many more issues but 1 last thing I have to say is to NOT enroll your child in this school as i quickly pulled my child out of this school after a year! Truly terrible school, sorry to say but its the truth and the truth hurts sometimes.

β β β β β I am shocked by the way how the school is handling potentially incoming student who was asked to keep quiet and don't ask question during the class. It is absurd to have such practices in a so called international school standard. Even upon writing to the school met with no courtesy replies. That tells you quite a lot. Good luck to those who are sending their kids there.

β β β β β expensive for a bunch of high tech equipment we rarely use. Food is trash for 25,000 RM, taste like dog water. We have to provide for our own materials and book instead of the school providing for us which i would be fine with but it cost 25,000RM which I am not fine with. Good libary aircon even though I can't use the libary thank to covid 19. If you could let me sleep in the libary with the air con on, I would rate it 5 stars. Also a bunch of facilties which I can't use thank to covid 19. I hope for you to let me sleep in the libary to composenate with covid 19. Also no sport day and no CCA. I don't know why this is worth 25,000 RM. A school worth 15,000 RM would still have the same qualities as Sri KDU just with less high tech equipment and more smaller facilities.
