★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the very few Chinese coffee shops in the small town of Mersing.
Serves good coffe although a little thin for some.
Toast is quite crispy but they really spread on the butter- there’s a thick slice in each toast.
Soft boiled eggs are ok, but the best is their nasi lemak- they are in small packs but really delicious.
Later in the day, they have pastries like kaya and curry puffs. These are a bit on the average side.
All 3 of our main races gather here for meals. Nice place to chill and the traffic is light.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly the 'kopi ais' and egg tarts are great, but her attitude is absolutely rubbish. If you feel like spoiling your day this is actually a great place to be. Thank for coming to my tedtalk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there around 10, most of the items sold out. Only got drinks , eggs and bread. It was full house and there's only 2 aunty working. So the service wasn't great , aunty was too busy and rushing , so she was a bit rude in taking order. The food wasn't great, just normal breakfast type of food. It's a place that i won't visit again given the service and food. Plus there's people smoking in the restaurant too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sri Mersing Café serves one of the best egg tarts in Malaysia! The crust is baked to perfection and the filling tastes just nice, not too sweet. It went well with a cup of ice cold iced milk tea or local coffee. Other bakes on sale are buns and cakes e.g. butter cake and fruit cake. If you fancy half boiled eggs and toast, they serve those too.
Fun fact: The Sultan of Johor has visited Sri Mersing Café before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad attitude by the auntie taking our order. The roti bakar was tasteless as in no kaya taste at all and kopi peng were bad. I expected more from a local kopitiam but this is a disappointing experience in a small town Mersing.
