Receptionist was rude.
I went in for a simple procedure that was supposed to be covered by my medical insurance.
Told the receptionist upfront of my procedure and handover my insurance information.
After procedure done, I was stopped from leaving and told to pay. They claimed my procedure was not covered by my medical insurance.
When i asked why you did not tell me before i went in, they simply replied they just called the doctor, that is AFTER my procedure is done.
I stood my ground and insisted that the procedure should be directly claimable. After 30min of back and fourth argument and multiple phone calls, I managed to get a hold of my insurance agent that notify the clinic of the CORRECT medical coverage and HOW they should enter in the system to claim.
A 5 minute procedure at other clinic turns into 30 minute of stressful situation at Sri Pinang Clinic.
