β β β β β I've got to know this temple when I Googled for temple Ara Damansara, as I had a job interview in that area and I was wondering if there are any temples where I could pray to Shiva, Kali and Muruga if I were to work there. I was looking for these 3 gods as I had dreamed of Shiva and Kali before, while 2 astrologers had told me to pray to Muruga. This temple has all the 3 gods, and I accidentally clicked on the website which brought me to their Facebook page and I was interested because there is a guru who does healing service.
This is a temple for those who are seeking for peace and healing. A modest temple located in an area which was once a forest, it is a place where you can breathe in fresh air and live a simple life amongst cows, dogs, and home-grown vegetables. If youβre lucky, you might even spot a cute squirrel ?
Sri Nagappan Swamigal is a guru who is blessed with healing powers and Ayurvedic knowledge obtained through his spiritual pursuits. Guru also teaches meditation and yoga so this place is both a spiritual and physical retreat.
The prices of medicine and treatment are very affordable because his main motive is to help others instead of earning money. I actually forgot to pay for the medicine the first time but guru didnβt bother to pursue me for payment ?. But of course we have to pay and not take his kindness for granted.
Guruβs house also serves as an ashram where you can live with guru and his family including some orphans. This is really helpful for those who come from afar. I stayed for a few days and everyone was really nice and the vegetarian food was great too. As I had sensitive stomach, non-spicy food was cooked to cater to my needs!
As my friend said, this guru is like Santa Claus and I agree with him. Swami intends to open a centre to help more people with meditation, yoga, etc. His selfless nature knows no bounds!

β β β β β This is an amazing little temple. A must visit. Sri Nagappan Swamigal founded this temple on his home property back in 1996 and opened it to everyone.
Hours our seven days a week from 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. and evenings from 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.
Sri Nagappan Swamigal continues the knowledge from his guru, Paramahamsa Sachithananda and has been practicing for over 50 years.
He gladly teaches meditation, pranayama, yoga, mantra/japa recitation, and a host of other spiritual practices that are strictly aligned with SanΔtana Dharma.
Swamiji practices what he preaches and is up every day at 4:00 A.M. to do his meditations. This is a very spiritual and family oriented place. It is an excellent place to bring young children and help them start their spiritual path.
Everyone of all faiths is welcome to visit the temple.
Every Thaipoosam, Swamiji leads a delegation of spiritual seekers to carry kavadi and fulfill other vows to Lord Murugan at Batu Caves.
To find the temple, just look for the BIG elephant statue parked in front of the temple grounds. Enjoy!
