★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably it's because of Ramadan month, there were lesser people, so it was cleaner and more spacious. Price are on a higher end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New setup for the morning market. More organized place to shop your fresh meat and vegetables. One thing need to change is the entrance signage which really look like kindergarten settings. Too colorful for a morning market and it's so difficult to see for the public. Make it white font I think it's better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SS2's morning market is located right smack in the middle of the SS2 square within the neighbourhood. The wet and dry market are located within the same row. The best food options you can find here would be Char Koay Teow, Chee Cheong Fun, curry laksa and apam balik.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In pursuit of roast pork or siew yuk, a mother and daughter greets you by 6:30am with her best roast belly cuts (RM80/kg) and roasted pork bones. Sadly no whole roasted pig here with ears for sale. Its too early so be prepared for an earful from the matriach. Next to them, is a fresh pork stall offering pig tail bone at RM20/kg. At market's end, you will find the elusive haruan or sang yu, a much sought after fish for medicinal purposes for wound healinģ. Blue pomfret or tau teh is offered at RM70/kg, cheaper than Penang Cecil Street Market. Strangely, fish is cheap but pork pricey in this valley of Canto speakers.
