★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All good expect some rude staffs.Not really recommend to buy groceries at night cause they only open one counter for 1 lane which cause a long queue,took 5-10 minutes for me to buy a single things because of that.

Don't be fooled by the name that it is unknown. They also sell a lot of imported goods like canned tuna fish from Korea. Different types of Korea instant noodles and wide variety of coffee that we normally don't see outside.
Conclusion, it is a hidden gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Checkout counter service is the worst I’ve seen. They have more than 6 counters but only 2 are open at one time , and the line is super long, takes easily 35 to 45 mins of waiting time. Ridiculous… Taman Kinrara branch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. Reasonable price if compare to jaya grocer, aeon and etc.
2. Hard to find car park near star grocer but you can try ur luck at the back of star grocer which is MR DIY that row.
3. Variety choices for Vege and very fresh
4. But fruits are not recommended, not always fresh
5. Meats are ok, usually buy their chicken
6. Frozen food variety choice also alot
7. Cashier area very narrow

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A revival of the Star supermarket in Kinrara area since the previous Bintang supermarket that has been taken over by Giant for decades before closing down and replaced by this. What I like about this supermarket is that it's design are quite up to trend just like the Jaya Grocer, has more imported goods than previous Giant store, have selling Chinese medicine, fruits and vegetables are really fresh, and good offering and competitive pricing. Would really come back again for another grocery shopping. Accessible by free bus via Smart Selangor or conventional RapidKL bus too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An improved, gentrified version of the old Bintang Supermarket that used to be here. Now it has a Jaya Grocer/Cold Storage feel and the prices are higher too. But it also feels much more comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Star Grocer has slowly built a reputation to be the next best grocer in the vicinity of Kinrara, carrying a variety of brands including those available in Jaya Grocer. Impressed to see that Blue Bunny and Tillamook ice cream available here. Well stocked to cater for all within a reasonable price range. The fish, meat and vegetables are fresh. The staff are friendly and helpful. The payment counter limited to 2 aisle and pose a long queue during peak hours.
