The hike was good, there are option of route which you can choose from the 1st checkpoint to go for a shorter and steeper path or a easy and longer path.
Overall it was a easy place to hike and it is quite friendly due to there are clear guide and also well maintain path to make the hike easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited yesterday for a sunset view. We used the tar road. You may drive all the way up to the view point where the lighthouse is. The selamat datang bukit Jugra, the light house fixture has fell off. The responsible party should fix it up ASAP to avoid the stuff being sold to the recycle places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never judge a book by its cover, or a hill by its height. At a mere 120 meters above sea level, Bukit Jugra isn’t immediately obvious as a hiking destination. Yet, rising out of the monotony of monoculture, this virgin forest covered hill surprises for its dramatic views and short but sweaty challenge.
Following the mosque road towards the water pipes, we turned right up a hill until we came to a dead end. Straight ahead: barren earth; to our right: a water plant. We trekked anti-clockwise around the water plant and just before we were round the back, veered right again into the brush.
The trail wound its way through the jungle around Bukit Jugra with occasional roped sections marking the way forward and providing support on the surprisingly tough uphills. These were no mere trifle as I was soon gasping for air and sweating profusely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We reach the summit by hiking thru the trail from entrance of hiking trail near the mosque. The track is super clean and there is quite a number of pit stop. We take around 1hour to reach the peak with a very moderate pace while enjoying the view after awhile of not hiking anywhere. Nice track for training as well. Gonna repeat with rajawali train next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Start hike from Masjid Al Muttaqin Kampung Permatang Pasir. You may park your car beside the open area. We start hike at 7am. Up and down spent 2 hours (Only go lighthouse). There are 2 different paths. The challenging path may more faster to reach park.
