Ordered delivery from them. They were very responsive and quick to answer questions. Delivery was quick too. I ordered the four person set and there was lots of food. Pork bone soup was delicious too!

Hidden within a residential area, price is slightly high if no promo applies. Owner was friendly and made sure the dining experience went well.

Went there around 4.30pm with 4 pax, opted for Hotpot Package B cost us total rm201.50. Selection very simple and little, not fresh at all. Overpriced.

Friendly & fast service. Boss is patient to explain their offers. We lunch there 2.5 hr, is corner shop, cozy & windy, not feeling warm. Recommend whole or homemade food. Both Porkbone & la-la soup are thick & yummy.

Good and fresh servings. Friendly and attentive boss and staffs. The soup base is very delicious especially the pork bone soup. The pepper soup is not so fiery but acceptable. A good combo for BBQ and hotpot which you can do the BBQ just next to your table ( a small BBQ appliance) .

Was here craved for the buffet, it's kinda hidden which nestled opposite of Eko Cheras Mall near the vegetarian food courts. Selected package C in addition of BBQ which the choices more variety. Soup base are entirely homemade and personally fond of tomato broth which we refill endlessly. However, one thing we just noticed that our BBQ is using portable gas stove instead of charcoal which abit disappointed, another drawback is no butter available and ice cream provided, if served would be much better. Other than that, the BBQ items and food quality such as coin meat, mini herbal chicken, both pork and fish paste as well as pork belly wrapped enoki, just to name a few, are fairly decent and delicious, not to mention the service is attentive and promptly, lady boss is friendly, totally worth a try, will planning for second visit.

From the address, you will find the corner shop lot located infront of the low c9st flats within the vicinity of Cheras Business Centre. If you are looking for an aircon, upscale neighbourhood restaurant, then this is not your cup of tea. Steamboat Factory is a "coffee-shop" layout kind of steamboat restaurant, almost no-frills and rely on its soup-base and/or food quality type of steamboat set-up. Hence, my first impression when i step into the restaurant, juggling in my mind of 4 packages of all-you-can-eat ranging from RM28+, RM38+, RM48+ and RM78+, was wondering how can such set-up charge such prices or even survive with such pricing range. The Positive elements of this place is that they do give good soup base - they have the premium types and the standard soup choice i.e. clear soup, tomato soup, tomyum soup and pig stomach pepper salted vege soup. We choose pig stomach pepper salted vege soup. Indeed, the soup is of good quality - just the right amount of pepper, and the salted vege blended with the pig stomach harmoniously. So the soup is thumbs-up. Its not the best that we have tried, but good enough to hold the fort. The meat paste with choice of pork, chicken and fish... all three meat taste is good value for money and deliciously tasty as all are homemade type and not those ready made balls. The meat slices - very thinly sliced and thats good and suitable for steamboat - easy and fast to cook. The chicken, though quite bland in taste, but veey smooth. The pork is ok as each slice has the right amount of fats. The beef is good, especially dip into their soy sauce, garlic and onion oil. The prawns are tiger prawns (small size) but very fresh and taate sweet. The bamboo clams is just so so. The negative elements are the vegetables selection is not good, as they only give two types i.e. wong ah pak (long cabbage) and lettuce. Only the wong ah pak is replenished. Beverage, its just chinese tea, plain water and pre-mix cordial. They do have chendol and some cooked food. Therefore, as it is a place to have good soup base steamboat, and if you are staying in Cheras area, its ok to eat there. Else, if compared to the likes of Fei Fan Hotpot and Rokyu, their price range are plus-minus the same and these are more upmarket restaurant.
