It needs more Touch n Go enabled machines/ dedicated lanes, as the only one existing dedicated lane for Touch n Go presently, causes overcrowding all the way to the back up to the waiting areas besides the platform track (heading to Seremban). Also, those who are about to enter the station have to wait for exiting passengers to clear the Touch n Go lane, many times putting them at risk of missing their trains. This is a serious concern as the KTM Serdang station is a very strategic one, where an abundant amount of commuters travel here everyday. KTM Komuter has come a long way to improve their services, train carriage cleanliness, frequency and communication with passengers especially in integrating with Google Maps to inform users of their schedules, in real-time, no doubt. I have confidence in their ability to do better and that's why this station should not get any lower than a 4-star rating ...

This station has a connection bridge that let you go to the opposite bus stop like the Selangor Free Bus that pass through UPM. When you get down from a train, the space in front of the electronic gates are small. Lot of people gather in front of the gate and makes them near the edge of the platform, which is dangerous. As usual KTM station, this station is hot too. You may feel the hotness especially in the noon. Very less seats for the passengers. Should install more seats and fans. Using the toilet will charge you about 20 sen per usage.

No service for Tngo.. Make sure your Tngo credit enough when you take the train

Never be on time because they're using their own 'time', if they reschedule the new one...they never make an announcement. Poor service by all KTM. People use public to ease their way to work and avoiding jam. Don't know when this issue will be settled.

Komuter was not on time per the published schedule time table and it's quite a common norm from public experiences.

Although the facilities in the station had been improved such as contained flyover walkway for pedestrians, the ticket machines at the station are always out of service and the trains are never really punctual. There are no timetables displayed at the station to acknowledge customers on the train arrival and departure schedules. There are further rooms for improvement. Another positive point is the ticket now is a chip that can be recycled.
