★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today’s lunch in Taiping was at STG spritzer Eco park. Lots of dishes ~50% weren’t available. I had the frozen seafood carbonara; the cream was good, but the seafood was frozen. 3.5 /5. Wifey’s hainanese chicken rice was ok 4/5 and the dry nasi Lemak is just worth 3 out of 5 according to my mother in law “it is ok, there is sambal” ... it sound a little different from “delicious”, doesn’t it?
Oh I forgot... the iced americano... so so...
So is it worth going there. The surrounding is pleasant. I would advise you to drop by for tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place never disappoints. Great food with phenomenal dining experience makes thus a go to spot for anyone. You could literally lepak here the whole day enjoying nature and the f&b.
One thing though, I have never been to a restaurant or cafe where they run out of chilly sauce and no one bothered to go out and get some. That's was very peculiar and what happened when we ask for some.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty refreshing afternoon tea at and STG Cafe here in Taiping in a beautiful setting in the forest with a creek running in the back filled with fish! Just as beautifully presented and delicious as in Ipoh. Coffees were rich and tasty and the cakes were moist and not too sweet. Their Lamingtons are always popular. The hot plate brownie with caramel was a decadent treat. COVID-19 protocols and best practices were strictly enforced and observed by all for a safe and delicious dining experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very attractive environment didn't expect to see somewhere like this in Taiping tbh has quite a North American/European feel to how it looks. You're surrounded by trees which is good for shade obviously - there's indoor and outdoor (covered seating) and a fairly large number of tables. It's part of the eco Park so good place to go either before or after and parking should be easy even at weekends.
I know recent reviews have complained about the service but was pretty good without being amazing in our experience and food came out quite quickly and close together though because it was raining it was quiet so that probably helped. We only had drinks and desserts so can't comment on the other food though obviously it is expensive for the area but I guess you'd know that before you went probably.
Mocha mousse I had was very good actually and a pot of sabah tea went really well with it and I though was excellent at just under 30rm for both it's KL prices really but for the overall quality and environment worth it in my opinion though wouldn't go everyday. Others with me had ice cream and a sizzling brownie and ice cream all of which they said were of good if not amazing quality - actually price wise the desserts are surprisingly reasonable as portion is big. I doubt I'd be up this way again anytime soon but If I was I'd certainly return.
