โ โ โ โ โ This hotel are good for business trip. Reasonable price and good environment. And this hotel have some rule, they will charge you, if blanket, pillow case, bed sheet and towel found a stain. The highest charging if they smell cigarettes smoke inside the room.

โ โ โ โ โ In my opinion, one of the best budget hotels in Malacca. It may be quite far from the city center, but not too much a problem if you have your own car.
The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean and very aesthetic (the best maintained bathrooms I have ever seen). Staff are also very helpful and friendly. There's also a cafe owned by the restaurant right next to the hotel so you don't have to worry about looking for a place to eat if you're not in the mood to go out.
Just remember to book in advance if you plan on staying on a weekend since it can get fully booked. All in all, you won't regret staying at this hotel if you come to Malacca.

โ โ โ โ โ Been staying here for some years already. Refurbishment done to the hotel looks nice and presentable. However, can't say the same for the rooms. Money spent on the refurbishment of the front could have been used to repair and upgrade the rooms and facilities.
Wifi has always been very weak. The room air conditioning needs to be upgraded especially the ones in the family room. We can barely watch the programmes on tv as the picture quality is nt clear.
Also wish they would pay attention to little details like the dirty exhaust fan in the bathroom, dirty and moldy bathroom walls. They are also dust and dirt under the beds which aren't cleaned up before the next guest arrives.
Having said that, the customer service is very good and checking in and out was a breeze. Friendly and polite staff.
Management should focus on finer details.

โ โ โ โ โ New hotel with clean lobby, spacious deluxe room, comfortable bed and friendly malay male receptionist. Nearby convenience shops but a bit far from main tourist attraction. Water pressure is also very good. Value for money.
Things to improve:
1) TV channels
2) hot water not really hot
3) you can hear clearly if somebody is talking outside your room

1st time - i booked directly with owner.
2nd time - booked with Agoda.
so far, i am very satisfied with the hotel. pls don't expect more for a budget hotel.
air cond is super good condition. this is very good enough because melacca is so damn hot!
lastly, their staff is very friendly and very reliable in helping.
i would like to thank Muaaz Faieez for helping me and my mom during my stays. ?

โ โ โ โ โ Staying 2 nights here. So far no complaints. Reception staff is very pleasant and helpful. My deluxe room is spacious, clean and comfortable.
No funny odors. Bedsheet is clean and smells fresh and so are the pillows. Bathroom is clean, which is very important to me. Air-conditioning works perfectly and water heater in the bathroom works as it should.
This is a good hotel and for the rates you pay, you'll find it difficult to find another hotel that's better.
The surrounding area is quiet as the location is away from the town center, but there are eateries, clinics, barbershop and shops all within walking distance. There's also a 99 Speedmart nearby that adds to the convenience. Oh and there's a self service laundry a few doors away.
I have another night to complete here and I'm currently enjoying my stay. Ignore the negative reviews. They probably expect 6-Star service for less than RM100. Their expectations are maybe way too high. I've traveled a lot both locally and overseas and so from my experience staying in this hotel, I highly recommended Rainbow Hotel.
