โ โ โ โ โ As an American living in KL. I visited Sungei Wang Plaza to go shopping. Itโs a cool 5 story mall. It has lots of shops but currently at the moment a lot of stores are closed. The main things you see are lots of hair salons, nails, cheap shoes and clothes. It even has 2 tarot ladies who do it for 80 ringgit which is $20. There are a few tattoo shops along with tailorsz essentially whatever you need they pretty much have at decent prices compared to the fancy pavilion down the street. Downstairs they have a grocery store called Giant which is not giant at all. Options are kinda low. But they have Dunkinโ Donuts and auntie auntie.
Pretty much the same as a small local mall in America def not fancy like a Westfield. I saw a place selling 10 ringgit t shirts and tank tops which was nice.
They also have lingerie shops, vape, rock climbing and apparently a movie theater that was closed.
Covid obviously hit this place hard
Hope that helps.

โ โ โ โ โ A rather dead mall, with more than half the shops closed. Nothing much to see here. No point coming here unless you specifically have a particular shop here that you want to go to.

โ โ โ โ โ I went there for the nijigen expo. This place is quite old and a most of the shop here is selling clothes. The price of the prodicts sold in this place is quite cheap compare to the mall around it. I would say this place doesnt have anything special but it seems like there always have event organized there.
I would say that this place is located in a very strategic place. Because if you feel bored, you can go to other mall there like pavilion and lot10.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the popular mall in the KL city center which is generally fully crowded. Easy to find and plenty of parking ia located at it's basement. Wide range of shops and reataurants inside this multy storied building. Next to famous gadget malls. There are multiple business loted in and around this mall.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the malls which were popular in the 80s and now forgotten if not for its location right smack at Bukit Bintang. It has a new facelift late last year. The concourse area looks brand new now. Most of the previous tenants on the upper floors has closed over the years and also due to the pandemic. However there are still enough outlets for your average mid-range price shopping. U can easily grab at-shirt from RM5 onwards, jeans from RM18, if u know where to look. And thereโre a few interesting vintage shops for bargain hunters. Hope the mall will survive the pandemic and continue to thrive.

โ โ โ โ โ Not quite the bustling bargain centre it used to be, as many stores didnโt survive the pandemic. Still has plenty to offer. Interesting how the entrance has been transformed to mimic an airport, complete with fake security scanners ?
