★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The team from the mosque came to the house to pick up the body of my mother-in-law on the morning of her death. They ceremonially cleaned her body, then formal prayers were held. While we were at the burial ground, laying Mak to rest, they lovingly prepared food for the family and guests. Formal prayers were held that evening and for the next two days. We prepared food for the next two days for family, friends and those at the mosque who had so kindly and lovingly helped. The food was paid for by contributions from members of the mosque,. This is Islam in action. This is true Islam. This is love. Thank you for your love, kindness and care.
