★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite big for a mini mosque or ‘surau’ at this neighborhood. By definition, a surau does not hold Friday prayers and only a masjid does. But I am not really sure about this surau. Judging from its size and that it has a pulpit (mimbar), which is normally used to deliver sermons before Friday prayers apart from other occasions like Aidil Fitri and Aidil Adha prayers, it could be holding Friday prayers here... not sure. Usually when a surau is given the authority by the state's religious council to hold Friday prayers, it will automatically be ‘upgraded’ and called a masjid.
