Swimming Pool Complex Ipoh City Council

every week i will go swimming at least once. last went was on 14/3/19 evening time and the public pool was crowded as usual but I noticed the color of pool water in the biggest public swimming pool somehow look YELLOWISH as I walking near to the pool. I thought I might see wrongly but when I entered into the pool, the water was so DIRTY and CLOUDY that you can LITERALLY seeing those 'foreign particles' floating around you!!!!! and on the swimming pool floor was really cover with yellowish patches (the yellowish color of water I saw from the ground was actually caused by this....) which I assume the pool has not been cleaning for quite sometime!!!!!! I got so terrified that I not able to swim at all but cancel my swimming routine disappointingly... Everyone came and paid to use all these facilities, why cant they provide us simple clean and hygiene facilities to use??? After waited for so long till the pool to be reopen and I was so happy to see these new facilities. Now I cant imagine how fast these facilities will get spoiled. Whatever we build, be it a pool, roads, bridges, airport or any other project, there should be proper maintenance, otherwise the whole project becomes useless within a short time.

Def. Cleaner and way better than it used to be. However there are no bench provided in the changing area. A bit difficult foe us to place our belongings I would say. Entrance fee for weekend : RM4 adult / RM3 kids. Discount RM1 for each for weekdays.

May be because we went on a working day, it was perfect and nice for me and my kids to enjoy swimming with no crowd at all. We got a whole pool for us. There are 2 kids pools which are 0.45m and 0.6m depth. Not sure if there is any other indoor swimming pool nearby, if there is, will surely prefer that better.

Wish it can open the indoor swimming pool to public ...at least at noon time.

Nicely renovated. No negative comments by me, storage locker facility for free, scored! It’s not perfect but we had great splashing fun time!

Very well maintained and good for proffesional swimmers and athlete to train in. However normal public citizens are not allowed to enter

Nice new facilities, 2 children pool and 2 adults pool. The indoor arena is close for public. Cheap entrance fees, children rm2/3, adult rm3/4 (weekday/weekend) I really hope that they will maintain it properly.

Remember that Wednesdays is women's only swimming session. For evening 5-8pm. Came with my bf to go for a swim but disappointedly left because he can't enter. No fun swimming by myself. In fact, I don't actually know how to swim?. I need my bf who can swim to be there. As Malay ppl say, "Malang tak berbau" so gotta be safe. Maybe next time.
