β β β β β Deliciously juicy roasted duck. My family totally loved it. One is not enough for my family because they finished half portion of it before I can take photo of the whole duck (only managed to snap photo of the remaining half ?).
Can get them to chop the duck nicely for you for takeaways (no need to be messy and straightaway can eat when reached home).
Definitely will return to buy this delicious roasted duck ? again. Best to call ahead to book/reserve to avoid disappointments

β β β β β The roast duck here is nowhere near the real deal in Petaling Street. We ordered a back quarter of roast duck and nicely requested for the bishop nose to be retained. The sour faced waitress came back from the chopping counter and bluntly told us no bishop nose. What!!!??? It's attached to the back quarter of any fowl. We were rendered speechless and too hungry to argue.
This famous namesake duck left a disappointing after taste as it did not remind us at all of the aromatic flavourful Sze Ngan Chye. The facade and interior decor of this restaurant belies the unfriendly poor service and overall cleanliness. A visit to the toilet says it all. Utterly regretful experience!!!

β β β β β This is the same Sze Ngan Chye you see in Petaling Street with the cart. The roast duck has a crispy skin and the meat is succulent. The char siew is perfectly charred. The spinach noodles with minced meat was super flavourful. Plenty of pork lard. Price is reasonable too.
I went for lunch at about 2ish and they are still roasting ducks. Super fresh and you wonβt be having overnight roast ducks.
