T shoppe bike rental

They false advertise price for the bike. Actual prices are higher than in the shop around the corner and twice higher than what they advertise. Don't bother with these guys rent somewhere else.

30 ringits for scooter was fine. But 15 myr for every day insurance was a lot!

Cheapest place for bike rental we found. Dont forget to take full insurance and check the bike before commit. Also take on daily basis 9am to 9pm it's cheaper.

Rented a bike for the day. Was 25rm and 50 deposit. No hassles and bike was perfect for exploring the island. Would definitely recommend this place to people.

I liked this place. Yeah, they do try and lure you from the street with by advertizing RM18 deals, but if you look at the fine print that's for 2 hours. RM25 for a day, which is pretty sensible. We were just in the Cameroon Highlands and they charged RM60. Friendly people, who don't try and worry too much about a little scratch here or there. Nice place.

Tried to book a car for a day here in advance but was told not possible even if you leave a deposit. Told that you have to fight the queue the next day. So went across the road to the travel agent shop (Pangsajaya or something similar) which for a similar price, and much more friendly service booked a much nicer and bigger Nissan Sentra sedan, vs the much smaller and weaker micro car vehicle which this place is offering, which looks unsafe in the event of a crash.

U can have 20% off discount when you booking 1 day before . It's only MYR 35 per motorcycle per 24 hours. Deposit myr rm50 . I recommended new Spacy Motor . Please ride slowly ... Dont speed up to 100km/hour . Dangerous road there .

I’ve been recently visiting Langkawi for few days. The car/bike rental is a v.well known option at this city. However, i really had a very bad experience with ‘T shoppe’. I rented a small car from them, as per what the Hotel recommended and paid -in advance- a full payment for a couple of days rental. Paid extra fees against theft & accidents (that was optional). Paid the insurance fees (that was obligatory )which you suppose to get back after returning the car in good shape. The car wasn’t that good & had tickling sound from the moment I started it. Even worse, the front tire went flat after only 30min from renting the car. It happened to me on a high way, so I could hardly stop the car on the side of the road as an accident would have occurred. The highways at Langkawi are very dangerous, with a curvy 2-lanes opposite in direction. I had to keep going on the flat tire for few kilometers until I could stop the car on the side. The tire was torn by that time of course. They provided a smaller -additional tire- that could only get you going back to the shop. I changed the tire & returned the car - while expecting from a reputable place to get an apology and changing the car for me because of being put in this difficult situation & wasting my vacation time. Instead of that, the ‘T shoppe’ management amazed me with a very mean attitude. They asked me to pay for the tire & to charge me with all the maintenance & insurance money I paid + the cost of the 2 hours that I used the car (that I literally spent on changing the flat tire) They were so rigid and didn’t negotiate anything. The thing is, they already charged the full payment fees++ in advance, so that was the real mean thing they used. The only option I had was going to the police station and waste the rest of my day on this pathetic situation. I chose to pay what they asked & cancel the 2days rental-while getting back the rest of my money. I told them that what they did was Not right & I’d really go write a bad review about them on trip advisor & other social media. They were even meaner to reply me to do whatever i want, as they don’t care! I really disguise that way of dealing with tourists and commercial activities. The rental rates at ‘T shoppe’ are already higher than the average at ‘Pentai Cenang’ area and now they even don’t have good quality cars, good customer service or even integrity in handling situations. I highly recommend others visiting Langkawi NOT to rent any cars from ‘T shoppe’.
