My partner, Anton Gillich nor I had been to a tailor in more than 20 years when opportunity knocked and then took us in the direction of Jason's Men Shop in Ampang not too long ago. Suffice it to say, our experience with the highly-capable pop-and-son team brought back pleasant childhood memories, right from the at-the-door greeting to the heartfelt smiling and firm hand-shaking to the measuring to the fitting and the whole anticipation of finally seeing and feeling. We were hosting a media launch for Mirth+More (the region's first premier comedy and lifestyle magazine for the region) as well as our private brand Class Act Comedy, and as such, Anton needed a tuxedo with which to unveil his stage persona and make his debut as comedy's Monopoly Man. Up until that point, the jury was still out on our account. Before then, we had only heard tales about this long-standing family-run tailoring business and how exceptional they were at nailing the brief. But tales sometimes can be twisted and might require some ironing out. However, when it was time for the ultimate show and tell, we were both magnificently blown away by the attention to detail attached to the finished piece. From neck to tail, the cut was pristine, the fit immaculate, and the wear just ravishing. It was then that we realised that with the right level of artistry, it was the suit that wore the man, rather than the other way around. An outfit equipped with just the right thread count of chutzpah and stitched to the bone with the finesse of flawless fingers, has the power to uncover that which was previously no more than an imagined picturesque transformation worth more than a thousand words. Without the trickery of exaggerated expression, the masterpiece that revealed itself from under the zipped casing went on to become an awe-striking, if not jaw-dropping fabric-strewn article of men's wear that shied not away from its capacity to steal the show that evening and every night since. From the encounter, we can only surmise that embedded into that intricately put-together attire was 'sew-manship' worthy of a standing ovation. More than a mere bodily covering designed for glamourous affair, it was the brand's unquestionable heritage steeped heavily in history and tradition and their passion without compromise that stood out most of all. The writing is now on the wall. Jason's Men Shop is definitely the choice for distinguished men with discriminating tastes in fashion.

A great family run business means their service was friendly, and excellent. Quality of my suit was top notch. Will definitely be my new go-to place to get formal wear. Will recommend to anyone.

Very good personal service with fantastic attitude towards your needs, i loved my suit im sure you wont walk away unhappy. I will surely get suit made there again but i would hold off on shirts. And making a suit for my size is not cheap but jason's was really forgiving to my weight and i can't thank them enough.

Jason’s Men’s shop is one of the highest quality men’s tailors you’ll find anywhere. I was vacationing in KL and realized I needed a nice pair of pants. I was desperate and came in one evening begging for quick work. Jason made a beautiful pair of pants and had them hand delivered to my hotel. I was so impressed by the perfection of the fabric, style and fit, I called him after I had returned to the US and he made 4 more pairs of elegant trousers and shipped them to my home in Arizona. I have never had nicer pants and, going forward, will only buy tailored clothes from Jason. How nice it is in our global economy that I can buy tailored clothing from halfway around the world and have them delivered to my house.

Outstanding. High quality, reasonably priced bespoke suits tailored to perfection. My cousin wanted a custom made suit for an upcoming wedding and Jason's Men Shop came highly recommended within our business circle. The whole experience was amazing. Mr. Jason's meticulousness from the 1st measurements taken, 2 fitting were given to ensure everything was seamless and right up to the final product, must be highly commended. He made sure every whims and fancy were met even though there were last minute changes. Professionalism at its best.
