I also just received an identical mail with same amount and content regarding a deceased person with same surname. Regardless of the trueness of the content, the request is a fraudulent, thus illegal in itself, since the person claiming the amount is going to present him/herself as the rightful inheritor.

I have just received an email from this company saying they want me to fraudulently claim for $10.2 million of inheritance from a man with the same surname as mine (Jones) because while searching for his family, only my details have shown up??? I cannot believe that people could ever fall for this and give over their bank details etc.
