The lake was given a symbolic name by Bandar Seri Alam developer UMLand which announced the new name for Town Park 1, Bandar Seri Alam as Tun Jeanne Abdullah Lake Park coinciding with the presence of Tun Jeanne and Tun Abdullah who came to open the place.
