★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A specialty of Tangkak - Tom yum soup with mian fen gao 面粉糕, specifically the hand-torn one, which I must say is indeed unusual. The tomyum broth comes pipping hot, served in a claypot, topped with loads of good stuff like lean pork meat, pork and fish balls, ban mian is not thick, in fact quite delicate; soup is mildly spicy and sour, very appetizing.
We also had 干捞云吞 dumplings with dark sauces to share, it is like how noodles are mixed with dark sauces making it a gan lau dish, it's the concept w the boiled dumplings here.
红豆冰 is essentially ABC, to our surprise. and there's another 爱玉冰 which is crushed ice with lime, can't rmbr.
Good to try out, fancy the tomyum noodles. Lots of parking up front, super convenient.
