★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A traditional chinese bakery in Tangkak with a variety of baked goods, from dou sha biscuits to mooncakes, pineapple tarts. You're in for a surprise if you're expecting the dou sha bing 豆沙饼 here for the Penang/ Ipoh mung bean finlling kind. The southern one here is really a 鸡子饼 gai zhai peang somewhat instead.
There's an open-faced baked pastry with a yellow crust crown w pink or white bodies - thought it's quite cute. It seems like it's still a family affair, seeing how in the kitchen at the back of the shop, it was truly a heart-warming sight. Good to support local.
