โ โ โ โ โ Nice, pleasant, and well kept. The place is clean. There's about 2 hours worth of things to do, if you take your time to walk around and enjoy the sights. However, during my guided tour, the guide wasn't able to give the tour in English.

โ โ โ โ โ This is definitely worth a visit. Entrance fee is RM8 for adult and another RM16 for a guided tour inside the dredge (optional but recommended). This is a piece of Malaysian history that is worth preserving and visiting.

โ โ โ โ โ Tin mining is the beginning of story for most cities in Perak. Of course it didn't start with tin mining dredge but "dulang" washing, but this gigantic tin dredge that weighs few tonnes is the last one in Malaysia. A unique historic relic that was saved from being sold away as metal scraps, and turned into a great sightseeing place. I didn't pay for additional tour guidance inside the dredge, so we just walked around it from the outside.
I also like the way they add on a nice heart-shaped maze park where paintings that explain the tin-mining history and bunnies were hid inside, waiting to found out by exploring tourists. A great place to spend some quality time with family.

โ โ โ โ โ Very informative. There 2 types of ticket admission. RM8 is for admission around the area. RM16 is admission into the tin dredge and around the area as well as the guided tour inside the dredge. I really like the history behind it on how the tin dredge operate from 1938 until 1985. The dredge still floating on the lake without any anchor at all.

Ticket price very reasonable, for tour outside the dredge.
Guided tour into the dredge , also with reasonable Ticket price.
One time entrance fee ticket. No additional tickets for amenities inside.
Petting zoo , feed some free to roam goats, great for kids.
The Love shape maze is awesome. Learn new things while mazing.
Small cafe is available, served with non cooked food - ice cream, can drinks , etc.
A small germ free playground is available for kids.

โ โ โ โ โ It was an interesting and unplanned trip here. After all these years I've been reading in my primary school textbook about the tin dredging machine and now it was in front of me. Apart from the main attraction this place also has maze garden, rabbit and chicken farm. You need to find the hidden postbox in the maze garden to post your post card for free. A good place to visit for a little bit of history lesson.

โ โ โ โ โ Interesting and informative place to explore. There is a tour guide every one hour , tentatively 930am, 10.30am and so on. The tour guide will bring u inside and explain how it works in old days. After visit can go to maze park nearby. Entrance fee rm16 for both park for Malaysian

โ โ โ โ โ Great piece of industrial history! Huge old mining dredge - enjoyed the tour inside even though we don't speak Malay, would be nice if tours were in different languages as well (my fault I don't speak Malay :) and learning about the history of mining in the area - must have been quite the experience to see this in action, great to see it preserved, and it looks really impressive in its current setting. The gardens are also a nice place to have a walk around.
