★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing much to eat around in the area of Mount Austin that we were in. We walked a short stretch and decide to eat at Tea Garden (seems to have the most patrons in the area).
Some food were lovely, some were ordinary. Still, a good place to have a quick meal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ local food with ok food. saw the cook taking out the frozen prata from the freezer below. the curry was too sweet and salty. the nasi lemak is ok, brings me back to pri sch days, simple, hard rice. yam kueh is ok. chee cheong fun was flooded with too much sweet sauce but it was soft and nice. chee kueh was soft and melts in your mouth. carrot cake is normal. not recommended unless all other shops around are closed and you crave for local food

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in mount Austin, place is easy to find, just at the corner lot. But the parking will be a nightmare for you as sometimes you need to get few rounds to get the parking.
The food is alright, a lot of choices, price is reasonable too, not too expensive, acceptable.
Staff is good and friendly, service on time, not very slow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid RM$43.80 for 2 persons lunch. The siew mai was ok. The fried bee hoon mee was ok. The curry mutton was tender but the gravy was a bit too salty. The nasi lemak was ok but the rice lacked the coconut taste. The rendang chicken was tender but the rendang taste was slightly lacking. Service was fast and staff were friendly. The air conditioned section was closed so we sat at the section that was naturally ventilated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing local food at cheap prices! A great dining experience I had here and the food all tasted SO GOOD! The carrot cake is literally the mouth watering!! Yummy yum! A wide variety so you never have to worry about differing tastes of a large group!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended by a friend. Nice ambience for a cafe and not much crowd on a holiday. Tried a few dishes and they were all very tasty and delicious. The must trys are the herbal chicken and the chwee kueh. Plus the white coffee is a must order.
