β β β β β Friend brought me here to buy some local delicacies. The main thing here is Hong peah and usually I avoid buying it as I never really tasted a good one. To my surprise the Hong peah here is not bad,the outer shell is baked well resulting in a biscuit within a biscuit like experience with a soft chewy mildly sweet centre. They also had tau sa peah which I had no expectations since I usually only buy those in Penang but that too was decent. Go for the original though as I felt the red bean,lotus and pandan wasn't that fantastic. Prices were average. This apparently is like a halal version. No pork oil used but I don't recall seeing a halal logo. If u want the porky version u have to go down the street to another shop.
