β β β β β Lovely old school bakery with yummy kaya puffs. Their butter chiffon cakes are also a hit but they can be limited in quantities so do call ahead to do a booking. Apart from these two, their cupcakes are as moist and fluffy as a cloud. Sweetness levels are just nice for the conscious

β β β β β Usually crowded. Old school texture cakes and kaya kok available. Personal preference feels the kaya kok more unique, kaya filling is more towards the dark brown type, but was a little dry. Overall still nice. Cake was fluffy, tho I couldn't taste much of honey or egg, eventhough it has the old school look.
Still a good local delicacy, good for gifts.
Kaya kok was individually packed in small plastic bags. In a way, it's convenient for travellers eating in the car through the journey. Contrary its not environment friendly n create plastic waste.

β β β β β I was expecting the kaya puff to be tastier than what I usually got from those stalls in our residential area, such as Moon Kee or Seremban Siew Bao or brandless stalls.
The skin was too thick and overall itβs too dry to consume, kaya taste was so so.

Cup cake was good as well. 4 stars
Sponge cake also worth. Slightly above average. 3 stars

β β β β β Stellar kayakok: fresh from oven, crispy crust, aromatic kaya filling. The sweetness and texture of the kaya is so perfect. It's a hidden gem in Kuala Kubu.
However, the female staff (there is only 1) is rude and unfriendly. There is quite a number of tourists visiting this bakery and she should definitely speak with a warmer tone & learn to say 'welcome' or 'thank you'.

β β β β β Good kaya puff. Waited 30mins for freshly baked batch. There was a short 5-6pax deep queue.

β β β β β We stopped by Teng Wun Bakery & Confectionery in Kuala Kubu Bharu on the way down from Fraser's Hill returning to KL. We managed to buy kaya puffs and a variety of other traditional pastries. They used to have their brand printed on their takeaway boxes previously, but now use a generic box. The pandan layer cake was in short supply and we only managed to buy one box. The Pandan layer cake is light tasting and not too sweet, which makes it very nice. The kaya puffs were freshly baked and filled the car with a lovely aroma. Taste is good, very crunchy and is great with black coffee. We gave a few boxes to friends as gifts and all of them liked it very much. A mandatory pit stop to buy traditional pastries in KKB. Note: plate in photo is our own

The peanut cake and butter cake is worth a try too
