The best place ever been, coral reef nearby good for snorkelling, extraordinary view good for any photographer. And last but not least, food are the best and Halal, 100% Muslims.

If you're on a budget but want a great dive site and don't mind the accommodation, then this place is right for you. The resort isn't the best in terms of up keep and showers aren't heated for most rooms. And beweary of the beach, it isn't meant to be walked on since you'll probably end up as sand fly buffet and suffer for days. However, the dive operator is a nice person that knows his dive sites well. Overall for the budget traveller this place is just a alright.

First and foremost don't get confuse. There are only 3 resorts in Tenggol Island, namely Tenggol Resort, Tenggol Beach Resort or Tenggol Coral Resort. Tenggol resort is the least known but it is indeed the best. We are glad that we stumble upon this place on our last minute search. TR is indeed a hidden jewel. The staff are all super nice, friendly and helpful. Resort itself is very clean and fulfilled your basic need. On certain time of the day electricity will be out but don't worry during that time you will be out in ocean diving. We really love the food. It was so much better than most of 5 stars resort. They served an authentic Asian and Malaysian cuisine and trust me the taste and portion were heaven. Don't worry you won't be out of food and you will never go hungry if u stayed here. Every meal you will have the guilty pleasure bcoz the food is irresistible. We ate until we dropped dead. The foods were also confirmed clean and Halal. I like the quite time at night. No blaring sounds or late night karaoke from nearby resorts too. So u can get a good night rest after a tiring day of diving, swimming and snorkeling. We prepared for sandflies and musquito but trust me it wasn't that bad. Neither of us get bitten. We did our 5 dives with the Discovery Divers team (linked with Tenggol Resort) and our DM was Salim. Salim is very experienced DM and he tried his best to show us Whale Shark but sadly we didn't get to sight any. That's our only regret. But we get to see Mobula Ray, barracuda, turtle and bumphead. The current is really strong but if u r strong swimmer and experienced diver u should have no problem. The DM will guide u well. They have no Jetty in Tenggol so just prepare to get wet and bcoz of the strong current u may also get a lot of splashes while travelling on the boat. But enjoy as Tenggol Island is truly heaven for divers. We will definitely come back again to Tenggol Resort.
