★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in late September 2016. The direct view of the sea & nice beachfront cannot be faulted. However the accommodation is not as shown in their website. Be prepared for a dilapidated, building with small rooms which the Management call "chalet". The air conditioner has been vandalised & takes time cooling the room. Meanwhile get ready to sweat as the room is warm like a sauna. Take a bath at their awful toilet with a rickety bowl! Bring your own toiletries, towel, kettle & water. For RM125 per night, this is the last time we'll stay here! Also, the limited parking is so crowded, best to park outside, by the roadside. Additional mattress (single) would cost an additional RM10. The Chalet/resort staff are foreigners & they don't speak the local language, just sign language or head noddings! Outside, Dried leaves are not swept & are bunched in mounds right at the corridor. The management should work on cleaning the surrounding, upgrade the gazebos facing the sea & give guests value for money. This is the most chalet at Sg. Kertah, Pengkalan Balak. Bring your own food as the nearest eatery is a kilometre away and only opens at night! Think hard before deciding to stay at Atie Ira Chalet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. Accomodation not well maintain. Many facilities not working and deterioriate.
2. No free wifi provided. Internet coverage from telco service providers are poor.
3. The beach very dangerous for children.
4. No swimming pool.
