β β β β β A big, well maintained and rich museum is this one, building architecture is awesome and everything is nicely placed. From city centre it takes around 10 minutes by taxi, for foreigners the ticket prices 15 RM each. You can have a look to their history, culture, current state king-queen's details, information related to animals found in KT, Malaysian Petroleum extraction and all these. They have a nice park around and Kampung Budaya (Budaya Village) is nearby, can pay a visit in a single stroke.

β β β β β The biggest museum in Malaysia.
It have 3 storey of different exhibition.

We had a lot of fun exploring the museum.
Not stroller friendly so if you have small kids, make sure you babywearing because you might be tired if carry barehand.
Small kids might love this museum since it have a lot stairs and insanely big.
The ticket is rm5 for adult and rm3 for children.
You need one full day to visit this place.

β β β β β The walkthrough of Terengganuβs history. Batu Bersurat, batik and songket history, ancient weapons and accessories, petroleum, arts, animals, Islamics, royals, culture and many more things to see. If you love history stuff, you would love the visit. RM5 worth the tour. Bring along your kids so they can learn something about ancient culture.

β β β β β The museum is near to Taman Tamadun Islam. The tickets need to be physically purchase. You need to climb up the stair to visit both museum & ticket counter. There is no lift or elevator for individual who need assistance. The staffs very friendly and helpful. Have several blocks and sections inside.

β β β β β It's really huge so please wear sneakers or sport shoes if you don't want your feet to get hurt. This three-floor museum will give you a lot of new information thus one hour isn't enough to look around. (Was inside for a couple of hours). You have to climb up staircases to reach at the entrance and there you can scan mySejahtera and pay for the ticket.
P/s: Only have these two pictures inside the museum but promise you that you won't get disappointed when you step inside

β β β β β The main building offers a wide variety of attractions on Terengganuβs culture. However, I enjoyed going to the cultural houses more. I would suggest you to rent an electric bike, making the trip to each houses more fun and not as tiring. The houses were pretty far located to one another. A lot of pretty handmade souvenirs were sold within the houses exhibition compound.

β β β β β Great place if you love history. You need to spend more than 1 hour to visit all sections in all 3 floors. Exhibits and informations is great. I recommend the management to do a bit of refurbish activities. Some exhibits look dusty. Ticket price is reasonable.
