★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many excellent recipes, both from western and asian tradition. You can choose your fresh fish to be made on BBQ and it’s very good (fish named “pomfret” and “red snapper” are recommended!). They also serve beer and alcohol. The place is clean but “wild” at the same time, under the trees and next to the beach, with a nice breeze in the night. One of the best choices at Pulau Besar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very delicious foods with reasonable price. My family and i dont regret eating here. The foods are delicious and well cooked. The ikan bakar and ayam bakar really delicious. The desserts also yummy. But, the vegie is a bit salty. The service is good, and great service from the workers too. The place just average, not too fancy but clean and comfy. Worth to try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place with magnificent, soothing view. Served various type of foods, libations. Taste nice, but steak was a bit greasy. Price above average. Suitable for family eating, romantic dinner not to suitable. Service was great. Fast and helpful but seemed to be inexperience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was told that this is the best BBQ restaurant on perhentian besar. Well i can't disagree. The fish, the squid and prawns were nice. And the chicken wings (I'm not a big chicken eater) were out of this world. Sorry the photos are showing our breakfast and lunch only. Forgot to take pics from the BBQ dinner..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food in the Perhentians is very mediocre---look forward to enjoying to the natural beauty not the dining. That said, this is a rock solid place AND it has cold beer. The mamak mee was tasty as was the calamari. Even the pepperoni pizza was good. Sitting in the shade of their big tree, watching the boats go by is also lovely.

Also the receptionist is so kind.
I love that place. Highly recommend really.
