★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Living around this area for more than 8 years and i have never explore to this place. Since I'm have my own day and went out for a drive, surprisingly found this restaurant, business name attracted my eyeball and so i have decided to give it a try. First impression over this area is, it has gone through torture from the pandemic.
Despite it is old, run down and doesn't look at fleshy as newly open, food is good. That day i have order the pork knuckle in spicy soup paired with wanton noodle and cup of milk tea to bring the spiciness down.
This is a jasmine milk tea that gives a freshing aroma in your mouth.
Then move on the the noodle, it is just hard to describe but let's try. It looks like ramen, Malaysian style ramen, with pork knuckle that braised for long enough and collagen and fat all melt into your mouth on the first bite, soft, creamy, sticky, that's the classic type of pork knuckle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb pork specialty shop with a comfy shop and wide variety of dishes and soups.
The pork is to die for! Actually not too heavy on the seasoning. The meats are masterfully prepared. Service was very swift and the staff are nice, although the owners seem a little aloof.
Pricing is a little steep but still acceptable (unless you go nuts on the herbal offerings).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like bringing my guests and visitors here to my area. It is something different from the usual 大炒 lunch. Here they specialise in pork knuckle (non-halal). It just melts in your mouth. Today I tried their lamb dish and coconut soup for the first time. Again they didn't disappoint. My guests finished everything and are planning to come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste is okay but not worth the price. It lingers the thought of.. "what am I eating?" Also, I ordered soya bean but it does not taste anything like soya bean. Taste more like diluted gingko barley. Disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sampled: pork trotter rice (猪脚饭 / ข้าวขาหมู). Food looks good, taste not good. Rice undercooked, macam makan beras. Sauce drizzled on rice, literally just a drizzle. Egg still has runny yolk, I'm neutral to this. Price midrange-ish, may not justify the portion. Condiment: chilli dipping was savory and spicy though. Positive points for the ambience, cute decor of the sow and piglet, and lots of blasts of chilled air. It was sweltering hot when i visited. Drinks: ordered iced Chinese tea, served in a chipped glass, and by the fault in the stars, i happen to hold my drink on the left - luckily didn't end up with cut lips. Restaurant has 3 lots of reserved parking for customers - didn't use as ample parking around and those were utilised by those who grew up not knowing how to color within lines. Biases/ limitation of review: (1) did not sample other food on the menu, those may have tasted better than my sad bowl of pork trotter rice. (2) did not savour their drinks as just had drinks elsewhere. (3) compared said sampled dish to pork trotter rice from Bangkok. Verdict: My bowl of rice looks sad, for I dunno how to make it happy. Should you come?: I would not visit again, but don't be discouraged by my review as they have other dishes offered that may be worth your distinguished palate.
